While training to be a teacher, it is vital that you look after your physical health and wellbeing. That is why we offer 10% off a membership at The Gym Group alongside no joining fee to all of our trainees.
Confidential Support Service
This support service provides confidential wellbeing support for all our trainees. Available 24/7, the service offers access to qualified counsellors and specialist advisers who can help with emotional wellbeing, stress, anxiety, family matters, financial concerns, legal issues, and physical health. The service comes with an app, that offers self-help advice including exercise videos, meditation guides, healthy recipes and more. The service is designed to support trainees both at work and in their personal lives.
Mentoring

As a trainee, you will have two mentors at all times throughout the course. You will have a lead mentor who offers pastoral and programme support. Your lead mentor will come into school once per phase. You will also have a school-based mentor who will support you with planning and observations etc. We have a digital platform that supports your workload by allowing communication and feedback between you and your mentor about your work.
