Step-By-Step Career Path

Initial Teacher Training
Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through one of our training routes and begin your professional journey.

Early Career Teacher
During your induction years, you’ll receive mentoring, reduced teaching commitments, and professional development.

Subject Leadership
Take responsibility for leading a subject such as Maths, English, PE, or Music. This is often the first step into leadership.

Key Stage Leadership
Oversee a phase of the school (EYFS, KS1, or KS2), supporting staff and improving outcomes across your stage.

Senior Leadership
Roles such as Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Head, or SENCO. National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are often required.
